Creative accounting,it’s what they all do

Known as taking the Michael to me and to you,

Blatantly claiming all forms of excess,

Totally failing what’s right to address.



Lining their pockets over the years,

Finally fingered Joe Public now hears

Posturing, squirming “I kept to the rules”

British tax-payers all taken for fools.



Now rushing headlong fat cheques to provide,

But only because there’s just no place to hide,

Do they really believe that we’ll now let it lie ,

Cos their fingers are no longer deep in the pie?

Can we credit their arrogance,now they’re in the mire,

That they still expect trust and respect to inspire ?

Most of them guilty,dishonourable lot,

Who wins the next vote matters scarcely a jot!
